Should I buy FOB or EXW from the factory?
We strongly recommend buying FOB (Free on Board) terms. This obligates the factory to pay domestic transport to the port and Chinese export customs, saving you unnecessary domestic handling fees.
What is the minimum volume for ocean freight?
For LCL (Less than Container Load) shipping, the minimum chargeable volume is typically 1 CBM (cubic meter). For shipments under 1 CBM, air freight or express courier is usually more cost-effective.
Do I need an import license to receive goods?
With our DDP shipping service, you do NOT need an import license or customs bond. We act as the importer of record on your behalf and deliver the cleared goods directly to your door.
How do you calculate dimensional weight for air shipments?
Air cargo utilizes volumetric weight (Length × Width × Height in cm divided by 5000 or 6000 depending on courier). We bill based on whichever is greater: actual scale weight or dimensional volume.
